No Name! Club Summer 2017

Balla No Name! Club Presentation Night 

Balla No Name! Club held a presentation night in the Olde Woods Balla on the 11th of August to present a cheque of over €3,000 to the Mayo Roscommon hospice. Balla raised the funds from their bedpush fundraiser in which members of Balla No Name! Club pushed a palliative care bed 10km in the Farewell Balla Run and Walk on Saturday July 29th. The night was a huge success with the well earned funds going to such a wonderful cause.

Baltinglass No Name! Club's trip to Tayto Park

For their summer trip this year, Baltinglass No Name! Club travelled to Tayto Park in Co. Meath to brave the Cu Chulainn Coaster, make a splash in the Viking Voyage at the Park and have a peak at some of the animals in the zoo. Baltinglass No Name! Club had such a successful club year, they wanted to finish the year off on a high. Both the young members in the club and leaders had an absolute ball.

St. Joseph's (Mayfield) No Name! Club Graduation Ceremony

On Thursday 13th of July St. Josephs/Mayfield No Name! Club held their graduating ceremony for their club members for the club year 2016-2017. Here their members were presented with their certificates in personal development to commemorate the great work the members did in getting involved with and organising a number of events that benefitted both their own personal growth and the local community. Hollywood No Name! Club are transported back in time

Hollywood No Name! Club strut their stuff in the Hollywood Fair Vintage Fashion Show to raise funds for the Hollywood Fair, a community event held in Hollywood Co. Wicklow which sees the village transported back to Ireland pre 1950’s. During the duration of the Hollywood fair which took place on weekend of the 20th of August, the Hosts and Hostess organised and ran pre-1950s games for the children (and some adults) visiting the fair. These old-school games included shuffleboard, high low cards and bottle toss. All the money raised from the games goes right back into the community of Hollywood and local charities.

Castleknock  plant crèche at Bloom in the Park

Castleknock No Name Club were responsible for the plant crèche at Bloom in the park this year over the June Bank holiday weekend. The plant crèche is there to ensure that those who make floral purchases wont have to carry them around all day, but can leave them in a secure location to be collected before they leave The plant crèche looks after approximately 10,000 plants each year and Castleknock No Name! Club also provided the service of transporting peoples plants and purchases back to their cars for them, or selling plant trollies to the patrons at Bloom. A really fanstastic service facilitated by Castleknock No Name! Club.

Droichead Átha No Name Club Hold Bake Sale

Doichead Átha No Name! Club held a coffee morning and bake sale on the 7th of July to raise funds for the upcoming club year. The morning was a great success full of gorgeous cakes and treats and even featured a raffle on the morning with some wonderful prizes. Well done to everyone who contributed to make the morning such a great success. 

Thomastown No Name! Club creates angel wings

Thomastown No Name Club were involved in a fantasic creative project in where members of the club designed and created these colourful angel wings. On June 1st the wings were installed on a wall at the community centre in Thomastown, adding a beautiful pop of colour to the area and some instagram worthy photo opportunities for passers by.
