Covid Update 10 March

It appears that we have reached the point where we can resume normal club activity as we know it !

·        Following advice from NPHET, the government lifted the legal requirement to wear a face mask on February 28th 2022.

From 28 February, the specific protective measures in schools such as staggered breaks and mask wearing will no longer be in place.

Therefore, in line with our approach in No Name Club where we have followed the guidelines regarding face masks in schools, the wearing of face masks is not required at No Name Club meetings or events.

While not a requirement any longer, any young person or volunteer who wishes to continue to wear a face mask should be supported and respected in their choice to do so.

Face masks continue to be required in certain setting such as public transport and health care settings – Covid-19 is still with us and vigilance is required.

·        Social distancing requirements have been lifted.

·        Contact tracing logs are no longer required

Thank you to you the volunteers, for all for your work in ensuring that we have continued throughout Covid-19 to ensure that No Name club is a safe place in every sense for our young people.
