Win your club €500!

Club hosts and hostesses can win their club €500 by entering the last of the road safety competitions we are running with the Road Safety Authority. The final competition  is asking our members to design a road safety poster to promote safe driving practices. This offers an excellent chance for No Name Clubs and teenagers to address the critical issue of road safety, to utilise their creative talents and have fun.  We are encouraging all clubs to make the most of the opportunity this presents and an excellent prize is on offer for the winning entrants club.

Entries can be created on paper or designed on computer and the closing date for them is Friday January 21st. Key considerations can include:

  • What would work well to promote safe driving?
  • Should the poster be visual or text heavy?
  • What or who might influence young people?
  • How can the importance of safe driving be communicated via the poster?
  • How do other posters and ads try get their messages across to people?
  • Can the Road Safety Authority website provide me with help or inspiration?

Entries can be posted to No Name Club, 32 Main Street, Newbridge, Co Kildare or e-mailed to
