Supertalent 2011 is now just hours away. The finest teenage talent from all over Ireland will take to the stage for this unique event. Clubs all over the country have been preparing for Supertalent 2011 for a number of weeks and the big show is now upon us. The final rehersals are all but complete and talented hosts and hostesses are preparing to take to the stage at The Garda College, Templemore, Co Tipperary.
Hundreds of hosts and hostesses will join their adult committee leaders to travel to the event. The teenagers will take to the stage from 1pm and deliver performances in singing, music, dance, drama and club feature films will also be shown. There are eleven categories the judges will have to choose winners from and representatives from 20 clubs will be taking to the stage to perform.
The No Name Club is delighted to have partnered with An Garda Síochána for the event and the college surroundings should offer an excellent venue for Supertalent 2011. Proceedings will begin at 1pm and Supertalent will run until approximately 6pm. Food will be served from around 3.30pm.
This is the third year of the changed format for our takent show and this has resulted in an increased number of clubs having representation at the finals. A record number of clubs entered the regional stages of the competition and delivered outstanding entertainment at the four finals that were held in March. The finest teenage talent has qualified for the finals and they will now do battle to bring the national titles back to their clubs. Supertalent’s new category this year, the group of singers, has proven to be a huge success.
