SARI tournament sees No Name Club influence

Congratulations to Newbridge No Name Club committee member Patrice who recently participated in the Sports Against Racism in Ireland (SARI) Soccerfest 2010. Fuden Patrice Mancho Ngu has been a member of the Kildare club’s adult committee for the past year and managed the local side Riverglobe United FC to the second round of the multicultural soccer tournament.
The team fielded players from Ireland, Poland, Slovakia, Nigeria, Cameroon and the Czech Republic and beat the eventual winners of the Sari Respect Plate, Insaka Glentoran, in the first round of the competition. Having won four and drawn one of their five first round games on Saturday, September 11, the side went into the knockout rounds of the competition the following day with ambitions of claiming the title but were beaten in their second match.
Patrice wishes to thank all the No Name Club members and the community of Newbridge  for their support of Riverglobe United.
