Melleray 2010 – booked out

October 29th, 2010

The No Name Club Melleray Weekend 2010 is now fully booked. Around 200 young people will be travelling to the weekend of activity and fun that is taking place at Mount Melleray Scout Centre within the Knockmealdown Mountains at Cappoquin, Co Waterford. Teenagers from Dungarvan, New Ross, Cobh, Baltinglass and Newbridge No Name Clubs will travel to the weekend that is taking place from Friday, November 19th – Sunday, November 21st. Originally a boarding school attached to the Cistercian Abbey of Mount Melleray, the centre was acquired by Scouting Ireland CSI in 1975 and opened as a Scout Centre. The No Name Club has exclusive use of the centre for the weekend and is very grateful to Scouting Ireland for the opportunity.
Apologies to the clubs that tried book places for the weekend, as unfortunately the numbers were limited.
