Halloween 2010

Halloween brings with it a mid-term break and an opportunity for teenagers to enjoy themselves and No Name Clubs are running events that will allow them do so. A number of clubs around the country have nights lined up and details are provided. We wish all our members a happy and safe Halloween break.

Ennis No Name Club in County Clare is newly established and is running a fancy dress disco on Wednesday, October 27th. The event is taking place at Club Red Nightclub and excellent prizes of IPod shuffles will be on offer for the best outfits. A DJ will play on the night that will run from 8pm – 11pm and refreshments will be available within the funky setting. Tickets are being sold through schools for €10 and the event is open to 15 to 18 year olds. Gort No Name Club will also be travelling to lend their support and this promises to be a fantastic first event for the Ennis club.

Moving further south, Killarney No Name Club is hosting its Halloween fancy dress disco on Friday, October 22nd at McSorleys Nightclub. The event is running from 8pm with doors closing at 8.30pm. A DJ will play the best in modern music until doors open again at 11pm. Those attending are encouraged to dress in fancy dress and admission is €8. This event is open to secondary school students. The following Friday, October 29th, members of the No Name Club will be taken on a haunted mystery tour around Killarney.

Cobh No Name Club is using its Halloween celebrations to raise funds for a worthy cause. Proceeds from its Halloween Fancy Dress Disco, to take place in Cobh GAA Club on Friday October 29th, will go towards Cobh Community Hospital. A DJ will entertain on the night and the teenagers of Cobh will be joined at the disco by members of Killarney No Name Club. Two prizes will be offered to the boy and girl who turn out in the best fancy dress costume. Admission is €7 for an event that will run from 8pm – 11pm and should prove to be a very entertaining night.

In Waterford, Creation Nightblub is the venue for Dungarvan No Name Club’s Halloween disco, and the date is Wednesday, October 27th. It is running from 9.30pm to midnight and taking to the decks is DJ Ross. The event is open to students from third year upwards with admission being ten euro. This will follow on from the club’s very succesful Junior Cert celebrations and promises to be another great night.

New Ross No Name Club is running its disco at The Horse & Hound Inn Hotel on Friday, October 29th. The event is running from 9pm to midnight and being run for students from second year upwards. Admission is €10.

Moving up the coast to County Wicklow, Baltinglass No Name Club is bringing back a former host to lead the celebrations. Oisin Egan will DJ at the disco the club has organised for Friday, October 29th. The event is taking place at Germaines pub, in the Inisfáil function room. It will run from 9.30pm to midnight and is open to 15 – 18 year olds. Admission is €10 for what should prove to be a very enjoyable night’s entertainment.

In the capital, Finglas No Name Club is hosting its fancy dress Halloween Party on Monday, October 25th from 8pm to 10.30pm.

Over in the West, Gort No Name Club in Galway is holding a fancy dress disco on Friday, October 22nd. It is taking place at Lebane Hall and running from 9pm until midnight. Prizes will be given to the best fancy dress outfits on the night. A local DJ will entertain with the best in chart music.

Staying with the Tribesmen, Mountbellew No Name Club is having its Halloween celebration on Friday, October 22. It is taking place at Barretts Nightclub and will feature live band D Day and also music from DJ SweetDonn. Admission is €8 and doors open at 10pm. The event is open to local schools only, for second year to Leaving Cert students, and it promises to be a great night.

Staying in the West, Claremorris teens will be putting their creative fashion talents into practice when they take to the town on Wednesday, October 27th. The No Name Club has organised a fancy dress disco at the Dalton Inn Hotel. This will run from 9.30pm to 12.30am with a DJ spinning the tunes and prizes on offer for the best fancy dress outfits. It promises to be a night of fun-filled entertainment in extravagant attire.
