Dundalk’s Open Day

Dundalk No Name Club is holding an open day on Saturday February 19th to introduce itself to the local community. The newly established club is holding the event at Dowdallshill Gaelic Football Club and the purpose of it is to give teenagers and parents an understanding of the No Name Club and explain to them the benefits the new club can bring to Dundalk’s teenagers and to the town. The open day will run from 2.30pm to 5.30pm and teenagers and parents are welcome to meet with club representatives on the day.

Speaking ahead of the event, Club Chairman Niall Bailey said: “This is a club that will offer the young people in Dundalk excellent opportunities to participate in fun activities and will provide them with a very valuable social outlet. It will be a club for the young people and we’re keen to meet with them and their parents and get their ideas on what we can do with it. With the support of a national organisation behind us, we believe this is an exciting time for young people in Dundalk and we look forward to working with them and meeting their needs.”
