Community benefits from Claremorris generosity

It’s been a busy few weeks for Claremorris No Name Club. The Mayo club made the most of the opportunity Halloween presented to them and dressed in an array of outfits for a disco that was organised to co-incide with the Halloween holiday. The very succesful event saw teenagers from the community gather at the Dalton Inn Hotel on October 27 for a night that was enjoyed by all. Pictures of the event are below.

Not content with running an event for themselves, the club also played a lead role in organising a disco for young children leading up to 12 years of age. Hosts and Hostesses of the Mayo Club worked with Claremorris Chamber of Commerce to run the event in the town hall on October 30. Nineteen members of the Mayo Club supervised at the disco, helped the children with their outfits and provided facepainting. Around 160 children attended the event that was described as a brilliant success and the Chamber of Commerce has been very appreciative of the No Name Club’s efforts in running it.
