Kells No Name Club is now in its second year. We have fundraised for the Irish Wheelchair Association and Irish Hospice Foundation. We have also helped with the organisation of the Kells Road Races, a popular annual event in Kells, and we are looking forward to participating once again this year.
Last summer, our club took a trip to Drewstown House and enjoyed the High Ropes Course that they have there. This was a new experience for hosts, hostesses and leaders alike! In February, Kells No Name Club hosted the North East’s Regional Finals for the Host and Hostess of the Year competitions.
This was a brilliant day for all the clubs involved, with lots of karaoke and fun! So far this year Kells No Name Club has participated in LGBT Awareness Week; a fashion show for the Kells Road Races; welcomed Santa to Kells People’s Resource Centre; participated in the No Name Club Conference and has been part of the audience of the brand new RTE show “The Voice Of Ireland” – and there is much more to come!
