Club to be established in Tralee

Following on from its success in Killarney, the No Name Club is now expanding in the Kingdom and is establishing itself in Tralee. We’re looking for adult volunteers from the town and its surrounding environment to support the teenagers within the locality and provide them with the fun and entertaining activities that No Name Clubs are providing throughout Ireland.

A meeting is taking place next Monday, October 11th, at St Brendan’s Pastoral Centre, Rock Street, at 7.30pm, to establish the club and all are invited to attend.

We are seeking adult volunteers who will oversee the running of the club and work with teenage leaders, who are known as host and hostesses, to deliver the activities and events that are organised by No Name Clubs. These are run for teenagers aged 15+ and delivered in safe and supervised settings that are free from the pressures of alcohol or other drugs.

Con Nolan, No Name Club CEO says: “This is a great opportunity for the people of the Tralee area to get involved in the setting up of a club that will provide an excellent outlet for young people to express themselves . The Regional Training Officer Anne Nagle will be attending the meeting and will be more than happy to speak with people about the role of volunteering and the organisation itself.”

More information is available by contacting Anne Nagle at 087 9049393.
