Castlebar’s goodwill

Castlebar No Name Club is using the goodwill of the festive season to raise money for a very worth cause. The club will be holding a flag day and carol singing on Saturday December 18th to collect money for St Anthony’s Special School and for the club itself.  St Anthony’s is a primary school for children with special needs. Around 30 of the club’s teenagers will be participating in the flag day around the town and it will run from 2pm – 5pm. A quick break, and they will then move onto Market Square (outside Dunnes Stores) for carol signing from 6-8pm. Again, this will raise valuable money for St Anthony’s and the No Nome Club.  Last year the club raised valuable and much-needed money for the Gort flood appeal and its generosity is evident once again this year. All are encouraged to support the club in its efforts.
