Carol singing for a worthy cause

Castleknock/Clonsilla No Name Club members will be carol singing in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre in the lead up to Christmas to raise money for an excellent organisation. The club is singing from 5.30pm – 6.30pm at the shopping centre on Wednesday December 15th and all money raised thru their harmonies will go towards the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland. 15 hosts and hostesses will be singing and will be supported by the club’s adult committee members. It’s hoped people busy shopping for their Christmas presents will be able to give something towards an organisation that carrys out  very valuable work with sick people. The Association works to increase knowledge and awareness of a disease that causes progressive disability and provides people with it and their families with valuable advice and support.

And that’s not the end of the club’s efforts over the festive period. On Sunday December 19th it will be carrying out bag packing in Dunnes Stores, Blanchardstown to raise money for the club itself. This will help support it in the valuable work it is carrying out in the communities of Castleknock and Clonsilla.
